Anyone know if there is such a thing as an herbal hair rinse that helps prevent
head lice? or anything for that matter that helps to prevent head lice- besides
the most common- keep hair pulled back, don't share hats, combs, brushes, etc.
Head lice has really been going around the schools, and my daughter has had it
once before, I don't look forward to that loooong process of elimination
again!!=(

Thorough blow-drying hair after shampoo ... the heat kills them.
For an overnight treatment, thoroughly coat the hair and scalp
with a light oil or even mayonnaise. To shampoo it out, DON'T
wet the hair. Apply a diluted solution of dishwashing detergent
(the grease-cutting liquid kind, about 1/4 cup to a pint of
water) first, as a shampoo and follow up with a shampoo for oily
hair.
