Question:
Could anyone out there please help me out with an alternative
to getting rid of head lice? The only way that I know of is
to nuke the head with some near lethal dosage of chemical via
shampoos such as "Nix", etc. Time and time again I have seen
the same children get reinfected and would appreciate very
much some suggeestions for an alternative remedy to give them
to get rid of these pesky creatures.

Larkspur flowers can be ground and steeped in tincture of green soap (5
times the volume) for at least a week. Use it as a shampoo and keep it on
your head for 10 min before rinsing it off. Do not use it if the scalp is
badly irritated.
